| | Mr. Shimon Tal is President of the Israeli Water Association and CEO of Tal Content – Consulting & Enterprise Ltd". He has over 33 years of experience in professional and executive duties in Israel's water resources management and water supply sectors , ranging from professional and engineering field positions in the water supply sector, through managerial positions, including VP for engineering of Mekorot (Israel’s national water company) and member of its Executive Board. He aiso served as Israel's water commissioner. Mr. Tal has an extensive experience in:
- Water supply and irrigation systems
- Nation-wide water resources in areas and times
of scarcity
- Organization and policy making for a national
water sector
- Regional and bilateral negotiations on water
issues
- Promoting of water related mega-projects in
Israel and in the region
- Clean energy initiatives and consulting on water
technologies to research centers and technology
incubators
Mr. Tal received his undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) and graduate degree (M.Sc.) from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. | |
